Admissions
Ascent Admissions Criteria for troubled teens to Wilderness Therapy Programs
Admissions
Acceptance of a child with a behavior problem into the
Ascent program is based upon several factors: current
behavior and problems, behavioral and medical history,
psychological information, and school history. Our
admissions process is designed to be as simple as possible,
without sacrificing the detail that is necessary to
determine the appropriateness of Ascent to treat your child.
All potential admissions are initially reviewed by
admissions personnel, and assessed by our medical, clinical
and program staff.
Our admissions personnel are available to assist you 24
hours a day approval to enrollment of your child can occur
on any day including holidays. Your admissions counselor is
ready to assist you with your application, discuss finance
and insurance options, assessments, professional referrals
and parent resources.
Tuition
Ascent is an all inclusive treatment program. The daily rate includes all clinical, educational, psychiatric, behavioral/milieu, nursing, meals and lodging. Individual therapy sessions once per week, group therapy two to three times per week and weekly therapist to parent communication are also included in the daily rate.
