ASCENT INTERVENTION
Ascent Intervention is specifically designed to provide a brief
behavioral intervention for students 13 to 18 yrs currently in
residential treatment setting or who have completed a wilderness
program within the past 12 months.
This brief high impact intervention provides a safe, supportive and
structured environment for stabilization and problem-solving. This
is a ”time-out” to refocus and establish a plan for a return to the
school or home setting with a clear plan for success. The program
addresses the primary relationships between the student, parents and
school.
- Focus with student on the “here and now” exploring the immediate impact of behavior in their life, school and family.
- Establish a strong work ethic that can generalize back into the home and school environment.
- Provide therapeutic experiences to students and their family fostering open productive communication.
- Evaluate and address decision-making and related communication skills.
- Facilitating clear productive communication between Ascent, the student, referring professional, schools and parents.
Enrollment is available anytime for a 7-21 day intervention and
stabilization program
Cost $425 per day.
