POSITION TITLE:
Director, Business/Referral Development
DEPARTMENT: Marketing
POSITION PURPOSE: Responsible for the management,
development and growth of business and referral sources for
Idaho Educational Services.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Develops, executes and evaluates
strategies and activities detailed in quarterly marketing
plans. Consistently meets goals established and outlined in
quarterly and annual marketing plans. Identifies potential
referral sources; i.e., MHPS, hospitals, support groups,
legal/judicial, schools, educational consultants, etc., and
develops, manages and grows relationships that result in
referrals to the school. Identifies potential funding
sources and obtains formal contracting arrangements or
agreements with referral sources, which result in referrals
to the school. Responsible for effective account management
of established and potential funding and referral sources
and includes appropriate administrative, clinical, or
school-based staff to grow the relationship. Utilizes all
communication mediums available including telephone,
face-to-face meetings, letters, etc. Proactive in keeping
territory mailing lists up-to-date. Consistently manages all
travel activities and utilizes the most cost effective means
of travel. Manages other expenses appropriately and stays
within established quarterly and annual budget. Secures
profitable new business opportunities for IES. Effectively
communicates information to Regional Representatives, Chief
Executive Officer, Western Regional VP about business
opportunities. Assists Marketing/Referral Development team,
Administration, and School staff in developing professional
relationships with contacts. Maintains a professional image
and role model and positive, customer-service behavior for
customers. Conducts training for school management teams as
necessary. Demonstrates the ability to get things done
through others who do not have a direct reporting
relationship. Coordinates with UHS business development
team. Proactively maintains current knowledge of program
policies, procedures, admissions criteria etc. Consistently
generates required and requested paperwork; i.e. weekly
reports, T&Es, quarterly plans, etc. in a timely and
accurate manner. Significantly contributes to the
improvement of the marketing/admissions team. Demonstrates
active participation in problem solving, meetings,
conference calls, and day-to-day interaction with the entire
department. Consistently uses Customer Oriented Selling
(COS) skills and is able to move customer through sales
cycle. Demonstrates proficiency and a working knowledge of
the ACT software system. Timely database management, which
includes keeping current contact information and updates as
outlined by Director. Responsible for Company and personal
Service Excellence Standards.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Flexible and mature individual displaying accuracy and

Excellent ability to read and interpret documents, such as

Excellent ability to write routine reports, newsletters and
correspondence.
Intermediate to advanced computer skills with experience in
Microsoft Word and Excel, Website management
Excellent working knowledge of budgetary guidelines and
general ledger concepts with ability to complete basic math
functions, compute rate, ratio, and percent.
Excellent customer service skills including by person or
telephone.
Excellent ability to project plan and manage time.
Excellent ability to work independently as well as in a team
environment.
Excellent supervisory skills including hiring, training,
evaluating, and coaching.
Demonstrated leadership skills.
Proficient ability to effectively speak before groups of
customers, employees, or visitors.

EDUCATION: B.S. Degree in Marketing, Business
Administration, or a related field; experience with
healthcare industry preferred.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: None
EXPERIENCE: Knowledge of, and skills in application
of, marketing principles, including product, placement,
pricing, and promotion as well as management of sales,
advertising and public relations resources. Minimum three
years proven marketing and supervisory experience.
Completion of sales training program required.
SAFETY REQUIREMENTS: General knowledge of workplace
and office safety, including ergonomics and video display
screen
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Extensive travel, must be able to travel by automobile and
airplane
Ability to sit, stand and walk at will, not a sedentary
position. Long periods of sitting required.
Occasionally lift and carry moderate weight, up to 30 lbs.
Ability to use keyboard.
Ability to touch, hear, see and speak corrected to normal
range.
Title:
Clinical Therapists
Facility: Ascent
RESPONSIBILITIES: The Clinical Therapist is
responsible for preparing initial assessments, progress
notes, staffing updates and discharge summaries. Conducts
initial interviews with each child and composes initial
assessment to include: primary symptoms, treatment plan,
diagnostic impressions, mental status and initial case
summary. Meets with each child, as necessary, and provides
clinical documentation to review concerns, mental status and
action plan. Completes a discharge summary for each child,
describing progress towards designated treatment goals, case
summary and recommendations. Attends weekly clinical staff
meetings to review each child’s progress, exchange
information, offer clinical recommendations and revise goals
as needed. Attends daily Flash meetings and exchanges
information with team. Case management with families and
referral sources. Conducts clinical concurrent reviews with
insurance case management, as needed, to help obtain third
party payments and responds to requests for documentation.
Follows all safety procedures and conducts working in the
safest manner possible to protect children, staff and
property.
QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s degree in Social Work and
knowledgeable with DSM IV. State Licensure LCPC or LCSW
strongly preferred. Previous Wilderness experience helpful.
Proven experience with substance abuse counseling and family
systems. Must demonstrate professional communication skills.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and
procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present
information and respond to questions from groups of
managers, clients, customers and the general public.
Experience working with families, insurance and managed care
companies a plus. Must have demonstrated telephone skills in
using initiative and assertiveness, while maintaining
excellent customer relations.
WORK SCHEDULE: Full time year round. Some field work
required.
